First Bank has been a strong supporter of Habitat for Humanity Bucks County for years and employees always look forward to volunteering on the build and repair job sites. The 2019-2020 period saw First Bank become a Home Repair Program Sponsor, which is a program that helps those in need make necessary repairs to provide improved safety, accessibility, condition, and livability to their homes. This year has been a little different with social distancing and other COVID safety protocols, but the repairs still needed to be made, and our employees were able to participate in some “sweat equity of the soul”! (And, for many, their first-ever experience handling a jackhammer!)
